Game One:
Jack Colvin and Brayden Ogden combined to strike out ten batters in Warwick PAL’s 4-2 victory over Slocum Baseball in game one their quarterfinal series.

In addition to Austin Wheeler’s two hits, Dylan Perreault and Sam Shelton had rbi doubles for Warwick.

For Slocum Baseball, Will Andrews had two hits and Will Creed had a two-run double in the first inning.

Game Two:
Jonah Lafaucci (3/4, one double, two runs and two rbi’s), Dylan Perreault (2/3, two runs and 3 rbi’s), Jayden Gonzalez (2/4, one run and 3 rbi’s ) and Austin Wheeler (2/4, two runs) led Warwick PAL to a 16-2 victory in game two of their quarterfinal series against Slocum Baseball.

They join West Warwick, LaSalle and Flood Ford in the Rhode Island Connie Mack Double Elimination State Tournament.

Led by the solid pitching of Cameron Caprio, the LaSalle Rams defeated the East Greenwich Avengers, 5-1, in game three of their quarterfinal series.

The Rams join Flood Ford as two of the teams that have advanced to the Rhode Island Connie Mack Final Four.

Caprio struck out 11 batters and allowed just one run on five hits.

Led by the solid pitching of Everett Knerr and Ethan Elderkin, the East Greenwich Avengers forced a game three with a 13-3 win over the LaSalle Rams in their quarterfinal series.

Knerr struck out nine batters and allowed just two earned runs in 4 2/3 innings of work and Elderkin struck out two in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

Although they only had four hits (Elderkin, Knerr, Brady O’Brien, Ace Schwarzbach), EG amassed 17 walks in the six inning contest.

In game one of their quarterfinal series, Flood Ford opened with a shutout victory over Coventry.

In game one of their quarterfinal series, LaSalle defeated East Greenwich, 11-1.
